"Liza May Post (1965, Amsterdam, NL) is a Dutch photographer and filmmaker. Her work focuases on the psychological dimensions behind human behavior. Her sceneries are highly stylized, taking great care of costumes and settings. The characters in Liza May Post's films are isolated, following strange, irrational choreographies. Their interaction is limited. They seem isolated in their own worlds. The atmosphere that Post evokes in her films is that of a dream. Absurdity of human existence and existential anguish play a recurring role in her work."
