Photos from my travels

This semester I've been taking stock of all that I've worked on in previous semesters. While I ended last semester working with my dad's photographs, this semester my mentor Jen Davis encouraged me to continue to find my own voice through my own photography. She suggested that I "channel" my dad as I take my pictures and see what arises. With the incredible experience of my first journey to Europe I've had an opportunity to see that world through a different lens. My trip to both Spain and The Netherlands gave me a chance to study different cultures who know how to celebrate life. The Netherlands was a chance to "own" my own Dutch Heritage in a new way.
